No PPD or ammonia
Our formula is made without PPD or ammonia, two ingredients commonly associated with conventional permanent beard dyes.
A plant-based beard-colour ritual for men who want to reduce the appearance of grey or white beard hair while keeping the result natural-looking.
For beard and moustache. Patch test required 48 hours before each application. Beard length of at least 1 cm recommended.
A different approach to beard colour
Bohemian Kings uses plant-derived colouring powders in a two-step beard-colour ritual designed to create a more natural-looking result.
Our formula is made without PPD or ammonia, two ingredients commonly associated with conventional permanent beard dyes.
The colour develops progressively, helping soften the contrast between grey, white and naturally darker beard hair.
Created specifically for beard and moustache application, with clear instructions and a colour base included in each pack.
Who it is for
The aim is not a flat, painted-on finish. It is a more considered colour result that works with the natural variation in your beard.
Four beard-colour shades
Select based on your natural non-grey beard hair rather than the colour you would like to achieve.
How it works
Complete a patch test at least 48 hours before every application.
Use the included Beard Dye Colour Base as directed, particularly on resistant grey or white hair.
Mix at approximately one part powder to three parts warm water and follow the enclosed timing guidance.
Rinse with warm water only. Avoid shampoo for 24 hours and oils for 36 hours.

Customer experience
Our customers often come to Bohemian Kings after deciding that conventional beard dyes are no longer the right fit for them.
Trying Bohemian Kings for the first time? Your first order is covered by our 30-day guarantee, including opened packs, subject to the terms of the guarantee. This does not apply where the beard is shorter than the recommended minimum length of 1 cm.
